What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant position at Washington County Chamber of Commerce?
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Receptionist.
- Chamber Office Operation: Register individuals attending chamber events, sort and distribute mail, verify and record for data entry into Chamber database. Coordinate and order office supplies, maintain office appearance, coordinate Outlook calendars and assist other groups with projects as needed.
- Monitor expenditures for the postage meter, bulk mail, periodical and postage due accounts.
- Maintain daily Front Desk Visitor/Walk-In Statistics
- Share Community Events and photos in Facebook
- Maintain and update Visitor Information/Resource lists.
- Visitor Information Center brochure inventory management.
- Office maintenance and assist with meeting set-up and clean-up.
- Provide assistance to the President/CEO--manage calendar, assist with on-site meeting preparation and food service orders.
- Membership and Relocation Packets: Prepare information packets for distribution to potential members and residents to the area. Track and report monthly and quarterly results. Knowledge/Skills:
- Be a self-starter and exercise good decision making skills.
- Possess strong organizational and telephone skills.
- Have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Constant Contact or Mail Chimp. Some database experience required.
- Have a good knowledge of office procedures and accounting cycles.
- Be personable and able to work with a variety of personalities.
- Strong communication skills
