JOB OPENING FOR A

CROSSING GUARD

FOR

Enterprise Elementary

PART TIME / $20 per Hour

Prepares crossing zone and assists children in crossing streets safely on a seasonal basis while children attend school.

Regular and prompt attendance is essential. The job is performed outside and is subject to exposure to the elements, such as heat, cold, and wet conditions. The job involves walking and standing for long periods of time.

• Arrives 30 minutes before the bell.
• Stays 15 minutes after the bell for stragglers.
• Allocates 15 minutes for setup and takedown of cones and turn on/off active street lighting.
• This totals 2 hours per school day (10 hours per week).
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  
  

AND

• Any related experience is helpful but not required.
