Responsibilities
- Manages and oversees office staff, including hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplining, terminating, etc.
- Oversight of accounting function and related information
- Responsible for all aspects of general ledger
- Prepare and analyzes financial statements and monthly reports
- Processes payroll and tax liabilities
- Oversees vendor management and outsourcing
- Issues timely and complete financial statements
- Complies with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filing
- Inspect accounting records and schedules for efficiency and accuracy
- Organize and update financial records
- Perform various monthly reconciliations
- Assist in preparing documentation for external auditors
- Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in the auto industry preferred
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with business applications and accounting software
- Excellent communication skill, verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors and staff
- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Encouraging process development
- Available to work flexible hours
