What are the responsibilities and job description for the Center Coordinator position at Washington-Morgan Counties Community Action?
Center Coordinator for Washington County, Ohio - Individual will direct staff to ensure that all service area activities are performed in accordance with Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards, Ohio Day Care Licensing Regulations and program policy.
Primary responsibility supporting daily operations of 1-2centers. Provides leadership and accountability for center staff. Supervise, support and provide resources to staff. Plan, coordinate, implement program activities, parent meetings, and training events. Maintain quality early childhood environment with attention to safety and health prevention measures. Interviews and hires center level employees in collaboration with Content Managers. Provide orientation to new employees, substitutes and volunteers. Approves time and attendance, travel and leave requests for center employees.
Education and/or Experience: Must have at least an associate degree in Early Childhood Education w/three years supervisor experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and experience in management; or related degree with experience teaching preschool-age children and experience in management; or a degree in Business Administration with experience in an early childhood setting.
Starting pay: $19.42 per hour

Additional Qualifications: Must have a driver's license, vehicle insurance and pass a BCI/FBI and additional background checks. Must be willing to travel. IRS mileage rate $.70 per mile.
