What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Home Base Visitor position at Washington-Morgan Counties Community Action?
Washington-Morgan Counties Community Action is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual for a Head Start Home Base Visitor position in Washington and/or Morgan Counties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess children's developmental needs and support families.
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote child development and learning.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to create individualized plans for children's growth.
- Maintain accurate records of visits and progress while ensuring confidentiality.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or conflicts that may arise.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Education and/or experience: Must possess a high school diploma, or GED. Two-year degree in child development or CDA credentials is strongly preferred. Related work experience is preferred but not required.
Starting pay: CDA $12.72 per hour- 2 year degree$16.18 per hour - 4 year degree $18.04 per hour.

Additional Requirements: Must have driver's license and vehicle insurance. Must be able to pass a BCI/FBI and additional checks.
