Job Summary: The Wealth Management Associate will be responsible for supporting selected Portfolio Managers as they develop and implement investment strategies, conducting market research, and maintaining/growing client relationships. This role involves preparing detailed reports, direct client communication (daily), and ensuring the smooth execution of investment decisions.
Location: This position is located in Providence or Westerly, and may be remote or hybrid within MA, RI and CT.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide the highest level of investment support to selected Portfolio Managers
Play integral role in EVERYTHING investments, compliance, and reporting
Prioritize and deliver on client requests in a timely manner - ensuring accuracy from inception to completion
Comprehensive and proven technical proficiency across multiple software platforms
Develop and enhance Excel and analytical reporting
Prepare client-facing presentations for meetings, customized exhibits, and performance analytics
Cultivate and maintain relationships with members of other areas of the bank to best service clients and their financial needs
Place trades and Process cash movement (receipts, disbursements, transfers) with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Solve complex and impromptu matters that can require out-of-the box thinking
Serve as coverage for Portfolio Managers and Trust Officers while at meetings or when out of office
Coordinate communication with outside professionals (i.e. accountants, estate attorneys) for enhanced client service deliverables
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
Progress towards CFA designation or comparable industry designation
Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management or a related field.
Strong analytical, quantitative and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling and investment analysis tools.
