Position Summary
The lab of Dr. Augusto Zani in the Department of Surgery at WashU in St. Louis is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team focused on lung regeneration harnessing stem cell derivatives. Specifically, the Zani lab investigates the therapeutic potential of stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) to regenerate fetal and neonatal hypoplastic lungs.We integrate EV in vivo tracking studies, spatial transcriptomics, imaging mass-cytometry, micro-CT imaging and experimental fetal lung models to address key questions in lung development and repair.
This position offers the opportunity to work on translational models, cutting-edge omics technologies, and contribute to high-impact publications in a collaborative research environment.
