Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serves as a principal liaison between students, faculty, staff, other departments and/or external contacts on day-to-day operational and administrative issues of the program; facilitates seminars, meetings, special projects and problem resolution.
- Develops and implements activities, including, but not limited to, seminars, conferences, workshops, short courses, public events and other related programs; develops new ideas and concepts for program themes, materials and resources to supplement, expand or replace existing program components.
- Coordinates activities of support staff, consultants, faculty and/or volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of program objectives.
- Monitors and evaluates program effectiveness, investigates trends and recommends and implements modifications to improve program effectiveness.
- Writes, edits and coordinates development of course catalogs, promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters and/or brochures, as appropriate to the program; coordinates and/or participates in public relations activities.
- Assists in the preparation of budgets and grants; monitors, verifies and reconciles expenditure of budgeted funds as appropriate; may participate in other fundraising activities.
- Monitors program/project revenues and expenses for cost effectiveness of program.
- Collects and analyzes data; prepares scheduled and special reports; maintains program/project records and statistical information.
- Performs or delegates clerical and administrative support tasks, including creation, typing and editing of program correspondence, purchasing documents, reports, program handbooks, brochures and other publications.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
