Position Summary:
This Temporary Part time Summer Semi Sessions Trainer prepares and executes facilitation of workshops and activities in-person for youth.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend 1 mandatory training before the start of camp, in June 2025.
- Facilitate student check in, drop off, and pick up.
- Assist parents/caregivers in filling out, completing summer camp documents.
- Maintain the organization of student records.
- Communicate with parents and families about student needs and camp information.
- Enforce camp rules and safety protocols to maintain a positive, safe atmosphere.
- Be punctual and prepared for each camp day.
- Supports with set up and clean up.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
- Supervise campers during scheduled activities and free time.
- Assist teachers during hands-on activities when needed.
- Work with Program Manager and other team member to ensure smooth delivery of camp sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Reliably transport self to campus before start of camp.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have Monday-Friday 8:00-3:30 pm availability from July 7-August 8, 2025.
- Must be dependable and arrive on time for each scheduled shift.
- Ability to work with children in a positive and engaging manner.
- Previous experience in childcare or working with children is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Must be physically capable of engaging in camp activities and spending time outdoors.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain sensitivity, understanding and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological and ethnic backgrounds by effectively using cross-cultural skills and abilities required.

- Experience handling student documents.
- Customer Service and or experience in middle/high schools
