Job Title: Program Manager Reports To: CEO
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Summar of Position:
The Program Manager will lead all efforts in operations, compliance, staffing, and program development/implementation of the Healthy Aging Program. This position is critical to ensure the well-being of our clients and the happiness and retention of our staff. Other responsibilities include:
General Duties
· Adheres to and clearly articulates WASI’s mission and core values
· Provides excellent customer service
· Manages the WASI Healthy Aging program, per applicable law, regulation, policy and procedures, and Funder requirements
Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for all grant funding and billable revenue compliance, including but not limited to reporting, proper use of funds and adherence to budgets; statistical data tracking, and regulatory compliance.
· Monitors client status and services by home visits when needed, monthly calls and quarterly surveys.
· Responsible for monthly billing of client service fees and collection of unpaid invoices.
· Responsible for recruiting, training, managing, scheduling, and retaining qualified staff.
· Perform assessments of prospective clients and coordinate with staff, families, social service agencies to determine if the Healthy Aging program will meet their needs.
· Maintain and monitor waiting lists and number of seniors receiving services in compliance with budget and staff availability.
· Develop and monitor program to ensure effectiveness, quality care, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
· Identify areas for improvement or expanded program offerings.
· Enter client information into our operational software and work with the broader team to communicate client needs and/or concerns.
· Ensure smooth, daily operations by monitoring staff, completion of goals & objectives as outlined in a client’s plan-of-care and update client and caregiver records to ensure all necessary documents are updated and in compliance.
· Work closely with the leadership team.
· Promotes programs with outreach and marketing to ensure seniors in the Mat-Su Valley are informed of the services available.
· Represents WASI in the community in a professional manner, advocating WASI services
in public forums such as Health Fairs and Community Council meetings.
· Act as back up for other program managers.
· Additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Preferred:
· Bachelor’s degree or two years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a program serving the elderly or healthcare industry.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· A passion for serving others – especially the aging population in the community
· Ability to learn new technology and industry specific software
· Quick learner, detail oriented and resourceful

Physical demands: The incumbent is required to speak and hear. Required vision includes close vision, primarily for reading. Driving may require sitting for long periods, and requires intense concentration, particularly in poor driving conditions. This position often requires extended periods of sitting or standing, using office equipment such as telephones and computers. Some duties involve lifting supplies and moving equipment. This position requires long periods of intense concentration and focus, and periods of work demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. Many of the deliverables from this position are time-limited, which can induce significant stress. Dealing with a wide range of different people on varied issues may also cause stress.
