Wasserman’s Brands division is building out its team around one of its newest clients. We’re searching for a Senior Manager to support the day-to-day management of current and potentially new partnerships across all aspects of traditional sports sponsorship. This position is responsible for owning, developing and managing a variety of workstreams associated with each of these partnerships as well as collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across the client, other agencies and internal Wasserman.
Duties
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Job Description
Wasserman’s Brands division is building out its team around one of its newest clients. We’re searching for a Senior Manager to support the day-to-day management of current and potentially new partnerships across all aspects of traditional sports sponsorship. This position is responsible for owning, developing and managing a variety of workstreams associated with each of these partnerships as well as collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across the client, other agencies and internal Wasserman.
Duties
- Support the day-to-day management of scoped partnerships, with responsibility for project managing various workstreams across, but not limited to, experiential, talent, content, retail and hospitality
- Takes on specialized roles or projects, including working with properties, agencies, and client teams to plan, concept and execute programs
- Supports development of materials such as timelines, strategy presentations, project trackers and budgeting templates with the purpose of helping sell programming concepts across talent, experiential and retail
- Performs research and analysis through the use of Wasserman’s 3rd party data tools to leverage various audiences, trends and statistics to help inform strategies and initiatives.
- Monitors media, trends and changing sports, entertainment and cultural landscape to keep company executives and team members aware and to maintain Wasserman’s position as the most knowledgeable in the industry
- Monitors competitive activity to help inform clients and agency teams of work in the marketplace
- Assists with coordinating client and company programs through various tools such as email, phone calls, and conference calls
- Stays up to date on client product / service offering and is able to thoughtfully present to potential partners
- Learns and manages client-facing project management systems and legal processes for the purposes of supporting the creation and approval of different project documents
- Oversees all budget and invoicing processes in partnership with internal agency finance team and client partners
- Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- 5 years relevant experience with minimum 3 years of direct experience in account and project management
- Professional experience and/or personal passion for soccer across teams/leagues/associations, diverse sports and culture are preferred
- Professional experience working with consumer packaged goods is preferred but not required
- Proficiency working with global teams across regions and the flexibility around the hours that come with varying time zones
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team
- Possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written as well as cross collaboration across internal and external teams and partners
- Understanding of sponsorship models, asset utilization, valuation methodologies and general partnership dynamics tied to activating on behalf of clients
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to think creatively in a team environment
- Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances
