We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our finance team in Iselin, NJ

This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in accounting or finance. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices, ensuring accurate billing records, and assisting with payment processing.

This role pays $24-$28/hr based on relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and issue invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify billing data for accuracy and completeness before processing.
• Maintain and update customer billing records in the system, invoice upload.
• Assist with reconciling billing discrepancies and resolving customer inquiries.
• Support the finance team in preparing reports related to accounts receivable and billing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of billing procedures and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
