Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Waste Connections. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment, including yellow iron machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of heavy equipment, including inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Ability to efficiently operate bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, and other heavy equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- Certified diesel mechanic preferred but not required.
