Job Description
- Position Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise mechanics on shift to ensure adequate knowledge and skills.
- Assign, review, and ensure proper completion of repair orders by all technicians daily utilizing RTA and other tracking methods.
- Provide training and assistance to Mechanics on methods for diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance manager to provide daily communications to operations on down trucks and operational needs.
- Work with maintenance manager on Waste Connections top shop program, and other compliance programs.
- Promote collaboration between and among personnel.
- Responsible to work with parts clerk daily to ensure technician needs are met.
- Communicates regularly with the District Maintenance Manager and all shop personnel, daily documented tailgates.
- Assists in monthly financial projections.
