Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Waste Connections, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Hauling location.
This is a high-energy role that requires performing preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems on garbage trucks.
- Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign repairs.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement or the ability to obtain it in the future. Welding/fabrication experience is highly desirable.
