Growth Opportunities
Plans and directs all onsite activities for one IWP customer (including multiple sites for the customer) in relation to the dewatering and thermal drying of industrial sludges and the recovery of reclaimable commodities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follows WM established EH&S policies and procedures and applicable federal, state & local regulations.
- Manages and plans activities of onsite personnel including multiple shifts for 24/7 operations and events.
- Acts as liaison between client and vendors in relation to service issues, scheduling, and contract management.
Collaboration and Planning:
- Schedules and coordinates personnel, equipment and subcontractors for event and long-term dewatering and thermal drying projects as directed by the IWP Senior Project Site Manager.
- Works in conjunction with IWP Engineering and Business Development teams to evaluate growth opportunities by performing site visits and job walks.
Project Oversight:
- Provides daily oversite of assigned projects and field personnel including rig up & demobilization and routine operations.
- Ensures daily, weekly, monthly and annual equipment maintenance and repair actions are performed timely within established Company guidelines and communicated to the Senior Project Site Manager.
Leadership and Compliance:
- Leads onsite IWP new hire onboarding processes, manages on the job training.
- Ensures compliance with client, government regulations and Company policies and procedures by performing necessary inspections and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in job related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Two (2) years of operation and maintenance of dewatering and/or thermal drying equipment experience as well as prior supervisory experience (in addition to education requirement).
Additional Requirements:
- TWIC card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
- Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer-contract requirements. Such testing may include urinalysis, oral swab, drug hair follicle testing and/or alcohol testing.
