Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading the onboarding, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of all drivers and helpers. Establish and maintain positive relationships with all front-line employees.
The majority of the day will be spent in the field with frontline employees, ensuring their success and growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding: Ensure new frontline employees have the necessary tools, instruction, and feedback for successful daily duties.
- Developing: Provide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees to enhance daily performance and understanding of their career goals.
- Coaching: Identify and address improvement opportunities, collaborating with frontline employees to ensure continued success.
- Mentoring: Lead by example, teaching and developing an understanding of safety practices and the company's values.
- Performance Management: Conduct root cause investigations for injuries and incidents, ensuring consistent discipline and retraining.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- High School Diploma and two years of relevant work experience may also be accepted.
- Successful completion of the WM Route Manager Trainee program preferred.
- Licenses and certifications as required by law.
