Wastyn & Associates empowers organizations by providing high-quality, personalized consulting services in grant development, fundraising, strategic planning, and board and leadership education. As a Grant Specialist, you will work with clients locally and across the country to strategize and write compelling grant applications to government, foundation, and corporate funders as part of a team of seven talented professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with nonprofit clients to understand their funding needs, match their needs with potential funders, and translate their ideas into persuasive grant applications.
- Manage multiple grant projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and delivering high-quality, detailed work.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, maintaining regular communication and consistent follow-through.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of client work.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and research skills, with an ability to craft clear and compelling narratives.
- Ability to handle multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Passion for working with nonprofits and contributing to community impact.
- Prior experience in grant writing or nonprofit work is preferred. We will train a candidate who has the right attitude and strong writing skills.
