Duties/Responsibilities
- Works with vendors to negotiate volume and cash transaction discounts and other available discounts.
- Ensures that purchasing documents are complete, and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
- Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records.
- Generates final invoicing for finished products or services.
- Communicates/coordinates with manager and other teams to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Creates, tracks, and coordinates product orders and follows up if there are any issues.
- Assist in the documentation of purchasing policies and procedures, including the ability to recommend and implement process improvements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to understand company products, manufacturing operations, equipment utilization, and material requirements.
- Associate degree in a related field is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
- Two (2) years of purchasing experience required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
