Medical Assistant Primary Duties
- Assisting physician in providing quality care to patients
- Providing side by side assistance with surgical procedures
- Reviewing medical history
- Maintaining notes in EMR
- Obtaining appropriate consents
- Calling in prescriptions
- Performing patient call backs
- Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients, and co-workers
- Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider's instructions, and knowing when to seek information or advice
- Proficient communication skills (written and verbal)
- Flexible hours
- Able to travel between two locations
- Medical Assistant (MA) Certification or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) License
- Hands-on experience in a clinic setting
- Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred
