We are looking for a great team player, listener and communicator who can partner and lead effectively our associates, residents, families, etc!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Servant Leadership directs all aspects of decision makingConducts resident evaluations in a prompt and timely matter according to state regulations and Watercrest policies and proceduresOversees and is responsible for all aspects of medication, including but not limited to; orders, administration, storage, documentation and as mandated by the State Regulations and Guidelines as well as Company policy and procedureResponsible for ensuring medications are placed on the MOR in a timely mannerPeriodically, or as mandated, reviews compliance for those that self-administer medicationsAssure that all resident care specialists are familiar with the residents’ individual conditions and are trained to provide the resident services in an effective, professional and sensitive mannerMonitors resident wellness care for compliance with state and federal regulationsMonitors and maintains vital statistics as requiredMakes recommendations for quality improvement, infection control and department enhancementsEnsures in house ancillary services, such as x-rays, podiatry, dental, eye care, psych visits etc. are scheduled and the appropriate follow up is completedMonitors and reviews daily charting by licensed staffMaintains / monitors care plans for all residentsConducts training classes, on-the-job training and orientation programs for all associatesReview direct report associate time punches in payroll system as necessaryProcess bi-weekly payroll for department associatesParticipate in the recruitment and selection of wellness associatesRespond in a timely manner to requests of residents, families and guestsProgramsCompletes and / or monitors incident and accident reportsParticipates in meetings with third party providers regularlyEnsures Limited Nursing Services are completed and documented as required according to state regulations (state applicable)KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, team members, residents, family members, guests, vendors, referral sources, and outside contactsAble to manage revenue and expense budgetAble to make independent decisionsMust be able to communicate in a warm, friendly and caring mannerMust be familiar with and adhere to guidelines related to the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizensEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma or equivalentLicensed Practical Nurse or Registered NurseEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum Two (2) years in the senior living, assisted living, memory care environmentStrong leadership skills with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in supervising and managementPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Work in all areas of the communitySubject to reactions from dust, disinfectants and cleaning chemicals and may be exposed to infectious waste, diseases and other conditionsUse personal protective equipment and supplies when needed to prevent burns, falls, and infectionPersonal protective equipment includes infection control kit, rubber gloves and non-slip shoesSubject to infectious diseases, substances and odorsFollow Safety Policy & ProceduresResident Wellness Director
M-F 9am-5pm
Rotate between department heads for Manager on Duty (Weekends shift)
