We are a system of well-established, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospitals in Camden and Elgin, SC, looking for enthusiastic candidates with a companion for animals and great communication skills.
As a full-time Receptionist at Wateree Animal Hospitals, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, and will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will be directly involved in our mission to provide exceptional veterinary services and excellent client service while building lasting relationships with clients and their furry family members. The Receptionist is the vital link between our dedicated veterinary team and our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with setting and managing appointments, ensuring a smooth scheduling process that accommodates their needs. You will also operate a multi-line telephone system, triaging calls and transferring them to the appropriate team members for timely assistance.
Your organizational and communication skills and compassionate demeanor will ensure that every client feels welcomed and informed. You will need to convey information clearly and empathetically to clients, ensuring they feel understood and valued. Exceptional organizational abilities are crucial for managing multiple appointments and phone inquiries efficiently. Attention to detail will allow you to accurately assist clients with treatment plans and boarding reservations. A calm and professional demeanor is necessary, especially when handling dynamic situations and triaging calls. Additionally, adaptability and a willingness to learn will enable you to navigate the fast-paced veterinary environment effectively.
