Waterfall Health of Brown Deer is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Social Services to lead our team in providing exceptional support and resources for residents in our facility. Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise the social services team, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Develop, implement, and manage programs for vulnerable individuals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, interdisciplinary team and medical professionals.
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and coordinate appropriate services.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in their professional development and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in behavioral health and social work standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance service integration and client outcomes.
- Develop and uphold individualized care plans for residents.
- Develop and initiate a safe discharge plan for rehabilitation residents.
- Advocate for all residents residing in the facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in supervising staff within a social services or behavioral health setting.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
