Waterford Public Schools has a vacancy for a team-oriented individual. Waterford Public Schools is seeking a Boys and Girls Varsity Outdoor Head Track Coach at Waterford High School effective for the Spring of the 2024-25 school year.

Overview:
Lead and manage the high school outdoor track program for both boys and girls teams. Supervise the Associate Head Coach and Assistant Coaches, ensuring a cohesive and effective coaching strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Develop and execute training plans, manage practices, and oversee meets.
- Staff Supervision: Oversee Associate Head Coach and Assistant Coaches.
- Athlete Development: Provide coaching, monitor progress, and promote proper technique.
- Team Management: Foster team culture and address conflicts.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure athlete safety and adherence to policies.
- Communication: Coordinate with staff, parents, and athletes on schedules and expectations.
- Equipment: Manage and maintain equipment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Coaching Experience: CT Coaching Certification Required.
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
- Previous track coaching experience preferred.
- Leadership, communication, and organizational skills
