Stable company in Mesa / Chandler is searching to add a Purchasing Manager to their staff. In this position you will be responsible for identifying suppliers, researching goods and services, verifying delivered items, etc. This position supervises employees as the department grows.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor inventory levels to determine purchasing requirements and forecasting
- Build and maintain positive vendor relations
- Prepare and process purchase orders, maintain records of all transactions
- Ensure any delays, discrepacies, exceptions are well documented and resolved
- Take a proactive approach in reviewing current systems and procedures
- Foster close working relationships with all departments
- Work on other projects as required
Education and / or Experience :
Note : Company will not provide relocation compensation at this time. This is an on-site position Monday-Friday 7am-4 : 00pm.
