Title: Human Resources Confidential Secretary

Immediate Supervisor: Director of Human Resources
Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing general clerical duties, preparing reports, maintaining records as directed, greeting and attending to the needs of the staff and public to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the Human Resources office.
Hiring Specifications:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 2 years college or post secondary education, preferred
Certification
- None required
Experience
- 3 years clerical or secretarial experience, preferred

Job Duties:
- Enters basic personnel/employment data in appropriate record keeping systems.
- Creates and maintains employee and medical files.
- Approves and reconciles daily employee absences.
- Maintains Frontline leave system.
- Generates attendance reports as requested.
- Assists with payroll errors called into Frontline.
- Processes lane changes.
- Process AFSCME sick time.
- Year End processing/support.
- Provides clerical support as needed.
- Support front desk.
- Assists with entering in benefits information for all employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
