Central Wesleyan Church is seeking a dynamic and creative AVL (Audio, Video, Lighting) Production Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality production support for our Sunday morning chapel services and various church events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in live sound, lighting, graphics, live video production, and volunteer team building. Additionally, the ability to produce promotional videos is a must. This position requires a blend of technical skills and artistic vision to enhance our worship services and events.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive AVL support for Sunday morning chapel services, including live sound, lighting, video production, and graphic presentations.
- Coordinate and manage AVL needs for church events of varying sizes, including weekends and evenings.
- Build and lead volunteer teams, training volunteers in AVL production techniques and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Produce high-quality promotional videos for church events and initiatives, including filming, lighting, sound, editing, and motion graphics.
- Contribute creatively to live production settings, bringing innovative ideas for enhancing the worship experience.
- Maintain and troubleshoot AVL equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with church staff and ministry leaders to meet the technical and artistic needs of the church.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in live sound engineering, lighting design, video production, and graphic design.
- Strong knowledge of filming, lighting, sound editing, and motion graphics.
- Experience in leading and building volunteer teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Creative and artistic mindset, with a willingness to contribute new ideas to the production team.
- Familiarity with the latest AVL technology and trends.
