Reports to: Reports to CFO

Job Summary: We seek an experienced and analytical controller with strong numerical skills to
drive our organization's financial operations and improve financial performance. Duties for the
controller will include overseeing internal accounting and controls, assisting the CFO in setting
financial targets, engaging with investors, assisting the CFO in developing a financial strategy,
monitoring expenditures, overseeing annual insurance, monitoring cash flow, and managing tax
compliance. Your skills in sound financial planning, coupled with your ability to support the CFO in
directing financial assets, will assist our organization in implementing effective financial strategies,
managing debt, improving revenue, maintaining a healthy financial position, and enhancing investor
confidence.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent working knowledge of double-entry fund accounting,
strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional
numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills. The controller should harmonize financial
operations, assist the CFO in developing effective financial strategies, guide efforts toward financial
stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with
accounting regulations, and maintain good relationships with investors.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis:
 Direct and monitor all financial activity and strategies of the organization.
 Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
 Use data analysis to assist the CFO in preparing for strategic financial trends forecasting
 Work with and advise the investment team on solid financial decision-making to increase
profits and minimize losses
 Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports/statements to ensure accuracy and
compliance.
 Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements.
 Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
 Monitor and manage cash flow to meet the organization's financial obligations.
 Implement effective cash management procedures and policies.
 Manage cash from any outside grants or funding

Accounting, Controls, and Taxes:
 Oversee all accounting work and lead business office staff.
 Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
 Set up internal and external audits to ensure the accuracy of information.

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
