What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative position at Watertown Municipal Credit Union?
POSITION SUMMARY (F/T):
Watertown Municipal Credit Union (WMCU) is seeking a customer-service-oriented individual for a 35–37-hour Full-time position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Foster a culture that promotes respect, integrity, diversity, and cooperation.
· Provide exceptional customer service to members in a friendly and courteous manner at all times.
· Comply with all the Credit Union’s policies and procedures, code of conduct and regulatory guidelines.
· Respond to all member inquiries/concerns accordingly.
· Inform and suggest new products/services to members.
· Have knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, policies and procedures.
· Have knowledge of the core system and the ability to perform all Teller/MSR transactions.
· Assist the Credit Union Manager in tasks and functions as necessary and/or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Professional, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
· Excellent customer service skills (in person, online or over the phone).
· Ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy.
· Associate’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience working in a financial institution preferred.
· Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to operate a personal computer to access relevant software.
· Experience with CUSA core system preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
