Location: Hosmer Elementary School & Watertown High School
Dates: July 1, 2024 - August 8, 2024 (Mondays - Thursdays)
June 27th - Preparation date
Compensation:
$42.00/hour: Teachers
$34.00hour: Unlicensed Teacher
Summary:
The Watertown Public Schools seek an Extended School Year (ESY) Substitute Teacher for the Summer of 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans for special education students in grades K-12
- Conduct whole group and/or small group literacy lessons
- Conduct whole groups and/or small group Math lessons
- Follow related IEP Goals and Accommodations
- Teach age-related social skills and functional behavior
- Teaching is focused on the prevention of skill regression
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience working with elementary and/or Secondary preferred
- Experience collaborating with colleagues
- Experience reading IEPs preferred
- Holds the belief that all children can learn
- Classroom management
- Attend pre-program training.
Teacher Qualifications:
- Preferred DESE Licensure
