Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Administrator to join our team.
In this role, you will support the Administrator in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and assisting in the coordination of resident care.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nursing home management while preparing you for a future role as a Nursing Home Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support : Assist in the smooth operation of the facility by monitoring resident care plans, coordinating staff schedules, managing resident admissions and discharges, and overseeing daily operations.
Compliance Management : Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including documentation, reporting, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Administrative Tasks : Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, maintaining resident records, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
Communication & Collaboration : Serve as a communication bridge between residents, families, staff, medical professionals, and external agencies to ensure clear and effective interactions.
Staff Support : Assist with staff training, performance evaluations, and address staff concerns to foster a positive work environment.
Financial Oversight : Support budget management, billing processes, and financial reporting under the direction of the Administrator.
Incident Reporting : Document and investigate any resident incidents or accidents to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education : Must have desire and be on the way to becoming an LNHA
Experience : Prior experience in healthcare settings, especially working with the elderly, is a plus.
Knowledge of Regulations : Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing nursing homes is highly advantageous.
Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
Leadership Potential : Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, work independently, and align with the administrator’s vision.
Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
Ethical Conduct : Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in patient care.
