WATG is hiring a Senior Director of Business Development for the Americas.
ROLE
The Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for developing new business in the hospitality sector and adjacent markets by following strategic pursuit plans to target offerings and introduce new clients and nurture existing relationships. The position focuses on operators, asset management firms, REITs, private equity and developers, and it works collaboratively with senior leadership to meet regional business goals and targets.
Responsibilities
- Works with the Managing Director for the Americas to develop and execute annual strategic business plans
- Identifies new business opportunities, creates strategic pursuit plans and works to cultivate existing clients and open the door to new clients
- Cultivates a ‘trusted advisor’ relationship with key target clients to leverage the firm’s Advisory Services
- Leads negotiation strategies with relevant senior leaders
- Participates in the Go / NoGo process, providing strategic counsel to the decision-making group
- Initiates continuing market research and leads generation program in the region with firmwide Marketing and Advisory Services as appropriate
- Partners with senior leadership and oversees client relationships through project delivery to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborates with the firm’s global business development team to share key market and client intelligence
- Positions the firm’s value proposition to drive global delivery (anytime, anywhere) and fully integrated solutions
