Company Overview:
We are a commercial construction company with 28 years of experience in our industry. We specialize in fast paced restaurant remodeling programs for elite national restaurant chains Nation Wide. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional service customized to meet our clients’ specific scopes and schedules. Our team delivers quality work through a hands-on, collaborative process while keeping our clients’ best interests in focus. We provide our APM’s with the necessary in-office support and resources to help make sure they succeed in their role and that the project is completed to the highest standard. Our APM’s are an integral part of the team, being involved with projects from the preconstruction phase through substantial completion with punch list sign-off. Each APM works directly with a Project Manager on each Project Assigned.
APM’s Responsibilities:
- Works with Project Manager & Superintendent to develop and implement a project which involves scheduling manpower, equipment rentals, obtaining necessary state licensing, permits, waivers, etc.
- Works with Project Manager to determine and track change order conditions and in providing Accounts Receivable with updated information to complete the billing process.
- Maintain communication with all members of the project team including client and their representatives, inspectors, vendors, subcontractors, and others essential to the success of the project.
- Assist during the closeout of projects including the management of punch out activities, preparation of warranty documents, acquisition of lien waivers and other responsibilities as directed by Project Manager or the Accounting Department
APM’s Qualifications:
- Construction background a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with the QuickBooks system is strongly preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with the Procore system is strongly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Outlook
- Must possess excellent time management, communications, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a changeable environment, effectively balancing multiple assignments.
- Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Great planning and organizing skills to prioritize and plan workflow by using time efficiently.
- Demonstrate the ability to be proactive and to assist where needed.
