Job Summary:
The Director of Communications plays an integral role in the working of the church. This role is responsible for internal/external communications (including Print, Email, Phone, Social Media, and Website), coordinating schedules, greeting the public, and expediting the exchange of information between congregation, staff, and other entities.

Seek
· Communicates about church activities via Social Media, Website, Email, and Print.
· Provides information to those reaching out to the church whether in-person, digitally, or via voice.
Connect
· Provides information for church committees as requested.
· Supports the Pastor by providing needed congregational information.
· Creates communication materials needed for services and studies.
· Creates the weekly bulletin for Sunday Services and the weekly email.
· Maintains office records on digital (O365) files.
· Manages the church calendar and usage per appropriate guidelines.
· Maintains minutes of Staff and Lead Team meetings.
· Develops an office budget that reflects the mission and financial capabilities of the church.
Nurture
· Keeps Pastor notified of congregational needs and concerns.
· Develops and encourages relationships that foster a Christian atmosphere within the church and its activities.
Qualifications
· Microsoft Office Competency – Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.
· Understanding of Social Media – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
· Understanding of Website Design.
· Ability to work independently and establish priorities without supervision.
· Problem solving skills.

Pay: $16,000.00 per year
