Lead Operator - 2nd Shift

Overview Of Role

The lead operator role manages flow and process in assigned work centers; coaches work center team on continuous improvement and embracing change.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Ensure the deployment of a safe and healthy work environment for all work team members
• Coordinate and meet manufacturing order (MO) delivery requirements with quality product
• Initiate/update daily production plan to achieve Takt, include daily resource plan
• Coach and mentor cell team members
• Share in the responsibility of team member development
• Lead Gemba walk and follow up on actions regarding cell improvement, standard work and problem solving
  
  

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Previous leadership experience
• Read and comprehend measurements on tape measure
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Work history does not exceed more than two jobs in the past year
  
  

Additional Success Factors

• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience
• Leadership training
