Job Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Manage assigned accounts to established credit metrics.Receive inbound phone calls from sales branches and customers requesting a variety of customer service based actions includingOrder releasePayment negotiation / Collection activitiesTerms account originationJob (construction) account originationInvoice / Statement servicingContacting customers for payment commitments to satisfy due or delinquent balances.Preparation of documentation for collections submittals and / or litigation.Procurement of reports from industry repositories. Other duties and ad hoc reporting as requested.Qualifications :
College degree preferred in a business curriculum.At least 1 year experience in account credit management and / or a collection-based environment.Intermediate user of the Internet and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook), with an emphasis on the ability to prepare and analyze data using Excel spreadsheets.Strong phone skills with a proficiency in account negotiations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to read and interpret documents such as credit industry reports, account reviews, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with both internal and external customers of the organization.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
