Summary
We are seeking a both a Charge Nurse and a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Cath Lab at Watsonville Community Hospital. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care during catheterization procedures, ensuring safety and comfort for patients while collaborating with a skilled team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for catheterization procedures, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures to ensure safety.
- Assist physicians during catheterization procedures by providing necessary support and equipment.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments before and after procedures to evaluate health status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective discharge plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and health management strategies.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS required.
- ACLS required prior to the completion of orientation and independent assignment.
- A minimum of 5 years in an acute care hospital setting and a minimum of 3 years of interventional Cath Lab with Interventional Radiology experience.
- Current Interventional/STEMI experience, hemodynamic monitoring included
- Strong patient assessment skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay: $66.53 - $91.79 per hour
