Our office in St. Louis is growing and we are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join our legal team. Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing motions.
- Client Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
- Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to the needs of each client. Analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
- Discovery Process: Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and coordinating with expert witnesses.
- Negotiation: Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Qualifications
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- Skills:
