Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 to 15 associates.
- Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
- Uphold and ensure adherence to prescribed Quality standards and guidelines.
- Meet or exceed production pace requirements while prioritizing safety and quality.
- Train and coordinate the development of foundry associates to enhance skills and efficiency.
- Coordinate labor and equipment utilization to achieve operational goals.
- Address and escalate people or process issues promptly.
- Participate in daily communication meetings to align on goals and progress.
- Record, communicate, and archive required operational data accurately.
- Promote and maintain routine housekeeping to uphold environmental and safety standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- 3 years of experience in Green Sand foundry technology.
- Experience with casting and processing of Silicon Brass parts.
- Ability to lead and collaborate across workgroups.
- Commitment to wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and abiding by safety rules.
- The ability to initiate positive change.
- Proven ability to maintain attendance and punctuality standards.
