What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teachers for ESL Evening Parent Program position at Waukegan Community Unit District 60?
- Teach parents English as a Second Language using Ventures curriculum.
- Help parents set goals and check them periodically to make sure their goals are met.
- Maintain accurate records for monitoring parent's attendance and progress.
- Make phone calls to parents who miss two consecutive days and keep accurate records.
- Collect and chart data, administer informal surveys or assessments as needed.
- Submit weekly lesson plans.
- Other duties as assigned by the ESL Coordinator, which are consistent with the collective bargaining unit.

Coordinator for ESL ACADEMIA 60 Parent Program
Qualifications: Must have a Valid Illinois Teacher Certificate (PEL) with an ESL endorsement (Bilingual certification is a plus). Experience working in Adult Education Programs.
Responsibilities:
Salary: $40 per hour/5 hours per week
Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00 – 8:00 PM

Teachers from the ESL Program will be directly responsible to the ESL Coordinator and indirectly responsible to the Director or Bilingual and Multicultural Department.
