Scope of Work:
Assist field technicians in the repair and overhaul of industrial natural gas engines.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Does field cleanup
- Works well with his co-workers
- Must work safely
- Must be able to cooperate
- Assists in the repair of shop and/or field work
- Must do service reports, timecards, and other paperwork in a legible, understandable manner
- Assist the Class A, B and Journeyman Mechanic where required and observe closely to gain additional knowledge
- Must take advantage of any and all service schools and training programs that are offered by the company
- Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have GED, High School Diploma, trade school or special service training preferred
- Technical background or related experience in engine maintenance and repair preferred
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s):
- Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives
- Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
- Must conform to company policies and procedures set forth by the company
- Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standard if driving company vehicle
- Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirement as outlined by the Department of Transportation
- Must be computer literate, a Windows based environment preferred (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook)
- Must be dependable and able to work independently
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend and twist several times a day
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days
- Must maintain good client relations
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment

Working Conditions:
- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Weekend hours as necessary
- Outside work as required
