Summary
The position will participate in all aspects of the construction and assembly of panelized housing. Will travel to job sites and set project components such as setting floor systems, wall panels, roof trusses, sheathing roofs.
When the position isn’t working in the field, the set crew will work on the production floor.*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete full erection of component homes such as setting floor systems, wall panels, roof trusses, sheathing roofs per field operations guidelines.
- Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Ability to work on the production floor in the weeks where there is no work available in the field.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to participate in and complete training programs.
- Available to work a flexible schedule that will include travel and weekends.
- Capable of working in a physically demanding environment and at various heights (up to 40 feet)
- Cleaning and preparing construction job site.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Ability to understand building material usages and construction practices.
- Proficient is using hand tools, power tools and various construction equipment.
- Ability to read construction blueprints and other documents provided for the construction of the building.
- Must be able to lift 50# regularly and 100# on occasion. The job will require climbing, bending, and working from various heights.
- Some overnight travel required.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Residential construction experience of 2 to 5 years

This role requires the ability to travel approximately 80% of the time. This could include overnight travel several days a week and / or day trips throughout the week to various locations.
