Electronics Soldering Technician 1 or 2 – Full Time
Wavelength Electronics designs and manufactures precision electronics for critical Laser Systems. Our drivers are used in challenging applications like surgery, medical tests, dangerous chemical detectors, climate research – and other technology that significantly improves lives. We’re looking for someone to join our Manufacturing team who enjoys building things by hand, already knows how to solder under a microscope, and wants to learn advanced methods. We will train the right person on advanced soldering techniques and IPC standards. This is a full-time position with weekends off at our automated, clean manufacturing facility in Bozeman. Hours are flexible.

Key Objectives
· Hand solder, inspect & rework electronics assemblies - using a microscope to solder the smallest parts
· Experiment & set up new hand soldering processes.
· Give feedback on failure modes to the Manufacturing Engineering team to identify any assembly process improvements.
· Maintain and update documentation as processes evolve.
· Seamlessly communicate with team members.
Education & Experience
- Requires a high school education or equivalent.
