Job Summary:
Currently hiring multiple days for second shift both weekdays and weekends. The Laundry Attendant roll is to maintain the cleanliness of the store, greet and assist customers, process wash/dry/fold laundry orders and sell products over the counter. This is largely a customer service and cleaning oriented position. Must be able and willing to work solo as the key representative to the store. Must have reliable transportation (not ride share). This is NOT a sit-down type of roll and requires lots of time on your feet cleaning and/or folding laundry. Pay is $15/hr plus tips and weekly $20 laundry credit.
Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain cleanliness of store to a high standard by wiping countertops, machine tops and soap receptacles. Make sure trash is emptied and floor is kept dry and clear of debris.
· Load & operate washers and dryers, ensuring proper weight of load and correctness of temperature.
· Neatly fold and bag laundry for customer pick up.
· Make sure bathroom is clean and stocked.
· Report any equipment not working properly to management.
· Handle over-the-counter sales of laundry products (detergent, fabric softener, laundry bags, etc.)
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Must be physically able to lift various weight bags of laundry, climb a step-stool.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
