We’re looking for a bilingual (preferred) and hands-on Airbnb Cleaning Supervisor/Runner to serve as our on-the-ground representative, ensuring our properties operate at peak performance and our standards are upheld.
Position Overview
The Airbnb Cleaning Supervisor/Runner is a part-time, on-call role responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and readiness of our rental properties. This role involves conducting property inspections, managing inventory, coordinating repairs, and supporting the cleaning team to ensure operations run smoothly.
Bilingual candidates (Spanish preferred) are encouraged to apply, as this role requires effective communication with a predominantly Spanish-speaking cleaning team.
Key Responsibilities
Property Management & Inspections
- Conduct weekly quality checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest readiness.
- Perform quarterly inspections to document and address necessary repairs or updates.
- Conduct random spot checks to uphold high-quality standards.
- Inspect for unreported damages and log findings for follow-up action.
Inventory & Maintenance Coordination
- Maintain and reorder inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, linens, and essentials.
- Track inventory levels monthly and report updates.
- Coordinate and oversee repairs and maintenance with contractors and vendors.
- Regularly replace and test batteries for smoke detectors, smart locks, and security cameras.
- Ensure properties have spare keys securely stored in lockboxes onsite.
Coordination & Oversight
- Communicate with and coordinate cleaners, handymen, and other service providers.
- Manage linens, including laundry logistics and timely replenishment.
- Perform spot checks after cleaning to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
"Boots on the Ground" Tasks
- Act as the on-call field representative to address immediate property concerns or emergencies.
- Handle urgent guest issues requiring in-person resolution.
- Collect and manage mail or deliveries at properties.
- Meet contractors and service providers onsite for scheduled repairs or installations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bilingual Preferred: Spanish and English for effective communication with the cleaning team.
- Reliable Transportation: A dependable vehicle to travel between properties.
- On-Call Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and short-notice calls.
- Experience: Hospitality, property management, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness and organization.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for team and vendor coordination.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with smart home systems and basic troubleshooting.
