Way Mechanical is a mechanical and plumbing contractor located in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and Nashville. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, service, and the maintenance of these systems. We are currently seeking a Piping Foreman to join out team. Responsibilities :
- Supervise and lead a crew of pipefitters on a project
- Order all material for each crew
- Develop look ahead schedule based on project needs
- Interact with the customer, GC, Owner, and inspectors
- Attend jobsite meetings
- Supervise pipe installation and equipment setting
- Manage production at the jobsite to meet the estimated labor hours
- Schedule and manage material and pre-fab deliveries from our Shop
- Piping systems include Chilled Water, Heating Water, Refrigeration, Condensate, Steam, and Condenser Water piping
- Understand installation of piping systems according to the contract drawings, specifications, shop drawings, details and code requirements
- Keeps work area clean and in an orderly condition. Follows all company and jobsite / OSHA safety regulations
- Supervise pipe testing and flushing per project requirements
- Good leadership and communication skills
