Compensation:
- In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Role Summary
As a Program Instructor, you will be pivotal in supporting children, youth, and families facing life’s toughest challenges. Whether you provide hands-on case management, help to develop life skills, or provide emotional support, your work will directly impact the lives of those we serve.

Qualifications
How you will Impact Change:
- Prepares individual service plans (ISP) outlining each student's current level of skill, goals, barriers to obtaining the goals and an estimate of time to complete the goals.
- Updates the curricula and evaluation procedures to meet the changing needs of the program.
- Performs student case management duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Maintains records for attendance and Measurable Outcomes for each client.
- Provides individual and group instruction.
Education and Credentials
- An associate's degree in special education, rehabilitation teaching, or a related fieldv from an accredited university is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in education with a background in independent living skills is required.
- Knowledge of all areas of adaptive Independent Living Skills for individuals who are blind or visually impaired is required.
- Three years of teaching experience working with individuals who are blind or visually impaired is highly preferred.
