WPS is a high-achieving west-suburban district of 2,800 students, with one preschool, three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. In an effort to help better assist METCO Students as they transition from the elementary to middle school and middle school to high school. We are seeking content 6 content area teachers (3 middle school and 3 high school).
Priority will be given to MS ELA, MATH or Science teachers and HS ELA, Geometry or Biology teachers. Along with support in these areas the goal will be help foster better student skills, relationship with staff and familiarize students with the increased academic expectations that will come with the transition.
The program will run for two weeks from August 4 - August 15th at Wayland Middle School from 8:30 - 2:30pm.
Salary : $66
