Our Campus will need your administrative skills for our students to succeed at Wayman Aviation Academy. Your attention to detail, scanning, and data entry ensures that applicants have no issues with their enrollments. Administrative Assistants are responsible for processing the enrollment of qualified student applicants for Wayman Aviation Academy (WAA).
Responsibilities:
- TSA – upload approvals to ETA.
- Maintains completed 141 check ride Google Sheets and makes sure proper documents are uploaded to the ETA platform.
- Maintaining ongoing databases of 141 records
- Monitoring of Student Records
- Assist with Orientation A
- Tours (Only when an admission representative is not available)
- Front Desk Duties (Phone Calls and Visitors)
- Creates ETA account for incoming students
- Orientation – Classroom Preparation
- Document upload shared with the front desk
- Creates Google Sheets and tracks payment (including Sallie Mae arrivals)
- Maintains student databases i.e. Populi. Monitoring student records and/or document accuracy within FERPHA.
- Assisting both Bldg A & Bldg B with reception duties: Answering calls, emails, etc.
- Creating and maintaining various evaluation reports.
- Hospitality of corporate guests
- Manage daily office email traffic, course changes, and student/faculty inquiries.
- Collaborate with all administrators, faculty, IT staff, and staff to facilitate and improve services to students.
Qualifications:
- High School or College Education
- General knowledge of Aviation preferred
- Superior organization skills, professional appearance
- Detail Oriented and Computer Savvy, multi-tasking, student-focused,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient with technical software and systems
- Goal-oriented, highly ethical, ambitious, high achiever, and able to manage assigned metrics and meet and exceed goals
- Problem solver and able to overcome objections and offer solutions
Wayman Aviation Academy is South Florida’s premier flight school for international and local students. From their first hour of flight through Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor ratings; Wayman prepares students for careers in the airlines. The Academy is based at North Perry Airport and operates a fleet of more than 40 aircraft.
Wayman Aviation Academy partners with Miami Dade College, Florida Memorial University, Liberty University, and the Greater Miami Aviation Association as well as 5 US and international airlines.

Pay: From $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:
- Aviation: 1 year (Preferred)
- Education administration experience (1 year minimum)
Language:
