Resident Services Supervisor

Job Overview
The Residence Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for residents, particularly those with developmental disabilities. This position requires strong leadership skills and a compassionate approach to care, as well as the ability to manage staff and coordinate services effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in social work or home care settings and possess financial acumen to manage budgets and resources efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of caregivers and support staff to ensure high-quality care for residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Foster a positive living environment that promotes independence, dignity, and respect for all residents.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Manage daily operations including scheduling, staffing, and training of new employees.
- Maintain accurate records of resident progress and incidents, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community resources to enhance resident support services.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to memory care and developmental disabilities.

Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising staff within a residential or healthcare setting.
- Strong background in social work or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets effectively and allocate resources appropriately.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices in home care settings.
- Compassionate approach towards residents, demonstrating care and understanding of their unique needs.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
- Relevant certifications or training in memory care or related fields is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.41 - $23.00 per hour
